The Europe Lake Cottage was built about 1919. The land on which the cottage stood was acquired by the State of Wisconsin and is now Newport State Park. The Hotz cottage was sold by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, dismantled, and reassembled near Sturgeon Bay and Potawatomi State Park. It is privately owned. |
