Glenn Wise at Train Station
Glenn Wise (right) shaking hands and saying goodbye to two of her friends who are standing up on the step of a railroad passenger car. They are (left) Marian Fox and Inez Toebaas. Fox was national committeewomen-elect and vice-chairman of the Republican party of Wisconsin. Toebaas was an alternate delegate to the Republican convention in San Francisco, California. Mrs. Glenn (John E.) Wise, Wisconsin's secretary of state, was serving as acting governor while Governor Walter Kohler and Lt. Gov. Warren Knowles attended the convention. Mrs. Fox has a mink stole draped on her arm and Mrs. Wise is wearing white gloves and a white hat. |
