McCormick Woodcut
Original woodcut created for the letterpress print of McCormick's Harvester and Self Binder. It has three sections and is connected using wood splines. An electrotype was created from the wood cut, then the letterpress print was made. The Harvester is driven by a man seated on the machine and pulled by two horses. |
