The text reads: "The illustration shows the patented construction of our NEVERSLIP TRACTORS which provides many times the tractive surface contact area of an ordinary tractor. It enables NEVERSLIP TRACTORS to travel over sandy, soft and wet lands without packing the soil and also to bridge over any low spots. There is practically no wear on the sprockets and track wheels as they are chilled like a car wheel. The bronze shaft bearings are properly lubricated and protected with dirtproof caps and collars and our patented truck wheel journal boxes which are like a railroad car journal box, (see illustration above) insure proper lubrication with minimum attention and power loss. The 30-18 NEVERSLIP will turn in an eleven foot circle as illustrated above." |
