MGM Trackless Train
The Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer "Trackless Train" turning onto North Carroll Street from West Mifflin Street. The "Trackless Train" was on a tour from New York to Los Angeles to promote "Good Roads and Good Movies." Also, they promoted the development of a national highway system as advocated by Herbert Hoover, who was, at that time, the 3rd United States Secretary of Commerce. |
