Farm Worker Swearing In
A farm worker, facing camera, is sworn in before filing a claim for worker’s compensation at the Obreros Unidos union office in Wautoma in 1967. A volunteer union lawyer, back to camera, is administering the oath. The worker’s compensation claims filed by Obreros Unidos members were the first such claims filed in Wisconsin on behalf of migrant farm workers.
