Wautoma WERC Hearing
| Migrant farm workers testify at the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission (WERC) hearing after a strike in Bancroft. Seated on the left is Obreros Unidos (United Workers) migrant farm workers' union leader, Jesus Salas, testifying to the three men seated on an elevated bench to his right. In front of Salas is a man holding a microphone towards the bench to record the hearing. To his right is a woman with her head turned away from the camera and typing notes on a stenograph machine. There are papers scattered on the desk in front of her. Strikes in Wisconsin were organized by the Obreros Unidos, an independent farm worker labor union effort in the 1960s.
