Three-quarter length cabinet card portrait of Captain N.A. Peterson, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who was master and part owner of the schooner “Selt” in 1873. He also sailed the schooners “City of Toledo” and “Alaska,” and the scow “John F. Prince. In September 1875, he and others rescued a crew of nine from the “Tanner".
DESCRIPTION
