The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: Ole Everson Luten resided in Stoughton, Wisconsin. On November 26, 1861, he enlisted and on February 13, 1862, was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 18. On May 17, 1863, he was sent to a convalescent camp near Murfreesboro, Tennessee. On January 31, 1864, he was transferred to 68th Indiana Infantry at Maryville, Tennessee. He was mustered out of service with Company H, on February 13, 1865, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. On May 22, 1867, he received brevetted rank of captain for gallantry displayed by him during the battle at Kennesaw Mountain, Georgia on June 27, 1864.
Andrew Ellickson held residence in Pleasant Springs, Wisconsin. On March 14, 1862, he enlisted and on March 21, 1862, was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 22. He was captured during the battle at Chickamauga, Georgia on September 19, 1863. He was mustered out of service on March 21, 1865, at Madison, Wisconsin. |
