The typewritten note attached to the back of the photograph reads: "Print I-24098. This is one of the first tractors made for the I.H.C. No water cooler was sent to us with the first engines so this type was furnished by us. This is practically the same outfit as Print No.2 with the exception of the cooler and the hot air device around the exhaust pipe. A.B. Whitney. 8-4-1933." Photo is part of a collection of "data files" collected by International Harvester engineers in the 1910s and 1920s. |
