The 2nd Wisconsin Infantry, 3rd Wisconsin Infantry, 5th Wisconsin Infantry, 6th Wisconsin Infantry, 7th Wisconsin Infantry, 26th Wisconsin Infantry and Co. G. of the U.S. 1st Sharpshooters were in the thick of the battle at various times during the course of the Battle of Gettysburg.
