Full-length studio portrait of Ole P. Olson, a second lieutenant in Company B, 15th Wisconsin Infantry, in uniform holding a sword. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Coon Prairie, Wisconsin. On September 23, 1861, he enlisted as a sergeant and mustered into service, in Madison, Wisconsin at age 22. On November 1, 1863, he was promoted to second lieutenant. He resigned his commission on June 6, 1863, due to disability. |
