Map or Atlas
New Map of the State of Wisconsin
This map shows portions of present-day Iron and Vilas counties north of the Manitowish River as part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Wisconsin counties in existence at the time are depicted. This map differs from earlier editions with the addition of a legend and the inclusion of Pierce, Buffalo, Jackson, and Clarke counties in the northwestern part of the state. |
