Harry And Velma Hamilton

One of the many Madison families who take part in the activites of the various Red Feather agencies (which makes up the United Community Chest) are Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. (Velma) Hamilton of 2022 Pontiac Trail and their three children. Patricia, 13, is a Y-Teen; Muriel, 10, is a Girl Scout and Harry, Jr., 16, is a Sea Scout and member of the Madison Youth Council. Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton are both members of the board of Family Service, a Red Feather agency. Mrs. Hamilton was a former member of the board of directors of the YWCA and currently serves on the Y-Teen committee. The Hamiltons are the first African American family in Madison to serve with the United Community Chest. |
