Mt. Horeb Opera House Block
| The buildings pictured made up what was called the Opera House Block, located at the intersection of Main and South Second Streets. The businesses housed there at the time included: Gustave M. Helland, pharmacist; Dr. Carl Scholts, dentist; Gilbert and Jackson, attorneys; J. Theodore Dahl, Clothier; and Holstein Brager, jeweler. The buildings on the extreme right are the Mt. Horeb Bank and John Pieh's Meat Market. Partially visible at the extreme left is Guier's Hardware store. |
