International KR-11 truck with refrigerated semi-trailer (semi truck) parked next to a box car near a warehouse building. Original caption reads: "Meat and other perishable foods are everyday necessities, of course, but when they go to army camps the hauling of these foods by truck certainly comes under the designation of war business. In the [photograph] is one of the two KR-11 International motor trucks recently added to the fleet of the Priceman-Fox Transport Company of Philadelphia which specializes in hauling of perishable foods... The new KR-11 shown is strikingly finished in orange and blue. The trailer is 26 feet long and has a refrigerator body, refrigeration being provided with dry ice... The average trailer load is 25,000 pounds."
