Wisconsin Diagnostic Center
A young boy plays with building blocks at the Wisconsin Diagnostic Center for the intensive study of mentally and emotionally disturbed young people. The boy was referred by the state Department of Public Welfare; the center is under the supervision of the Mental Hygiene Division of the State Department of Public Welfare and connected with the University of Wisconsin Medical School as a training ground for medical students and future psychiatrists. The center is located at 1552 University Avenue. |
