Evin Halvorson
Oval head shot of Evin Halvorson, a private in Company H, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Arendahl, Minnesota. On January 28, 1862, he enlisted in La Crosse, Wisconsin and on April 09, 1863 he was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 35. He was left at Island No. 10, Tennessee because of illness on June 11, 1862. He was discharged from service on April 09, 1862, at Murfreesboro, Tennessee for disability. |
