Original caption reads: "Because they are hauling commodities which are 90 percent directed to the war effort, Continental was recently successful in obtaining releases from the Office of Defense Transportation and War Production Board at Washington D.C., for the purchase of 10 International Model KS and KR-11 truck tractors. One of these is shown in accompanying illustrations on the Ohio River Boulevard and McKees Rock Bridge with industrial Pittsburgh in the background . . . These International tractors are hauling 28-foot van-type trailers with capacity loads authorized by various states. Both are painted a rich color red." |
