The photograph was taken for an article called "Quick fix at Phan Rang" in the 1967 issue of "International Harvester World". The original caption on a similar photograph reads, "Work begins at last daylight, continues under floodlights. Hitch plate is bolted to section to be removed, then attached by cables to Pay scrapers. As much as 400 feet of runway a night has been repaired." |
