Edlen P. Sime
Head and shoulders oval studio portrait of Edlen P. Sime, a private in Company H, 15th Wisconsin Infantry, in uniform. The following information was obtained from the Regimental Description Rolls, Volume 20: On October 23, 1861 he enlisted in Cambridge, Wisconsin and then was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 22. He was severely wounded during the battle at Stone River, Tennessee and was sent to a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He mustered out of service in Madison, Wisconsin on February 13, 1865. |
