They are at the back of Bracken Brae, the country house of John Johnston (1836-1904), a successful Milwaukee banker, in what is now West Allis, Wisconsin.
DESCRIPTION
Julia, the cook, on the rolling machine pulled by a team of horses wearing fly-nets. She is wearing a full-length dress and holding a whip in her right hand, and the reins in her left. They are at the back of Bracken Brae, the country house of John Johnston (1836-1904), a successful Milwaukee banker, in what is now West Allis, Wisconsin.
