Madison Field Trials for Dogs
Two trainers posing outdoors with their dogs after taking part in the Madison field trials. A record number of 80 dogs were entered. Winners in the four categories (all black labradors) were "Smokey," owned by Irv LaSage of Wauwatosa in the open all-age class; "Cinders of Erin," owned by J. Detienne of Milwaukee in the derby class; "Mickie," owned by Jim McAndrews of Decorah, Iowa in the amateur trained and handled class; and "Dela Winn's Desraeli," owned by Irv Duchner of Milwaukee in the qualifying class. |
