The original typewritten caption reads: "(Photograph T-5335) -- Farmers and rural businessmen made up a good portion of the crowd of 1,000 persons attending this International 'diesel demothon' at Cameron Mo. Cameron, with a population of 3,700, is 50 miles from Kansas City and 20 miles from St. Joseph, Mo. Sharp Trust & Tractor, the Cameron International dealer, sold four diesel trucks and had 31 requests in writing for more diesel truck demonstrations as a result of the promotion." |
