ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Woods mansion was constructed in 1925. Nebrask Row began in 1899 when Col. Henry Woods built the first summer home there on the bluff at the western edge of La Pointe. Alan Born managed the family jewelry store in Ashland, WI. He also took hundreds of photographs of numerous locations in northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, producing postcards from many of the images.
