ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The original typewritten caption reads: "Model S International motor truck owned by the Sanitary Wet Wash Laundry, Batavia, New York. This laundry also owns one Buick and one overland truck. Attached to the questionnaire blank are operating data sheets which show that the total mileage traveled by this truck up to the time of taking the picture, March 18, 1925, was 1,925 miles. This data sheet shows that the truck operates 6.6 miles per gallon of gas and at a cost of $.0374 per mile. The motor truck was put in use November 10, 1924. The average daily mileages is 28.62 and the daily expense $1.0726. Up to the time of taking the picture, there had been no outlay for repairs. A statement supplied by this laundry states that 'never before have we gotten through the winter without the use of horses on our out-of-town trips. During the heavy snows the last of January we broke open two roads, and ours was the first truck to reach Elba, New York, in three days. The people there looked at the truck as though they had never seen one before. We are so pleased with its performance that we are going to replace an Overland with your 3/4-ton job."
