ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The original typewritten caption reads: "Two Model 63 International motor trucks owned by the Welsbach Street Lighting Company, Philadelphia, Pa., and purchased August and November 1924. This company has sent in an order for six new speed trucks to the Philadelphia branch. It also owns one White motor truck, six Ford trucks equipped with express bodies, and eleven Ford trucks with tanks. The two Model 63 Internationals named above travel about 40 miles a day and from 600 to 700 miles a month. They are utilized to haul to and from freight stations and for making deliveries to lamp lighters. The trucks travel entirely over city streets and the loads are usually quite light, chiefly glass globes and domes. These motor trucks operate about seven miles per gallon of gasoline. The company maintains a book record of gas and oil used by its trucks, but does not have any accurate figures on mileages. The trucks are employed every working day. The Welsbach Street Lighting Company is pleased with International service: in fact, good service is one of the many reasons for using Internationals."
