Harry Houdini, the well-known escape artist, was born in Budapest, Hungary and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin. At the time of his immigration his name was spelled Ehrich Weisz. He is lying down wrapped in chains with heavy locks, and what appear to be two automobile tires. |
