Postcard
Tall-tale Postcard: The Milky Way

A convertible automobile with its top down has crashed into the back of a horse-drawn wagon carrying three enormous, full milk cans. The cans have spilled and are tumbling backwards onto the automobile and its passengers. The driver of the wagon is partially visible behind one of the milk cans as he is also thrown backwards by the impact. Not much can be seen of the passengers of the automobile as they are hidden behind the spilled milk. Two horses are pulling the milk wagon. Trees are visible on the left side. At the top right in red text, "Scene On the Road Near Mount Vernon, Wis." Handwritten in the lower left, "The Milky Way." |
