Graumann's Dressmaking Shop
Miss Graumann, far left, poses with four dressmakers in front of her shop. A sign on the right side of the door states "Dressmaking, Miss Annie Graumann". She conducted the business at North Ninth Street and Michigan Avenue for five years. Pott's Directory of the City and County of Sheboygan, 1897-'98 lists 831 Michigan Avenue as the address of both her shop and residence. The directory lists a total of 35 dressmakers' establishments in the city, at the time. |
