National Business Women's Week
Joy Morrison dresses in costume while working in an old-time drug store at the Wisconsin Historical Society Museum. The pharmaceutical items were used in Wisconsin drugstores during the first 50 years of Wisconsin's statehood. The enactment is an activity during National Business Women's Week which is being observed with special features in the press, radio, and television stations to show the progress which women have made through the years. The project is sponsored by the Madison Business Women's and Professional Women's organizations. |
