Sun Prairie Dedication of New Ashley Athletic Field
| Group portrait of the dignitaries who participated in Sun Prairie's dual celebration of Homecoming and the official dedication of Ashley Field, the new high school athletic field. Seated in the front row are the Homecoming queen, Mary Derr, and Homecoming king Harold Parr. Behind them (from left) are: Dr. James Weigen, R.F. Schiller, Charles Ashley, Leo Brandenstein, and C.E. Wetmore. Weigen, Schiller, and Brandenstein are members of the Sun Prairie school board; Wetmore is superintendent of schools; Ashley is the Sun Prairie H.S. alumnae who donated the land for the athletic field. |
