Postcard
Park[er] Street from University Campus
Colorized postcard of Park[er] Street and the West End of the State Historical Library, now the headquarters building of the Wisconsin Historical Society. Park Street is still a dirt road. Lake Mendota is visible at the end of the street through the trees. Of interest, the text at the foot reads "Parker St. from University Campus, Madison, Wis. It is assumed that the printer, in Great Britain, spelled the name wrong. |
