New School Librarians
Margaret Moss, director of school libraries (second from left), meets with new librarians Marguerite Hasse (Lincioln & Dudgeon Schools), Joan Mundt (Schenk and Mendota Schools), and Ruth Peplinski (West High School). All school librarians officially became school staff members in September, 1952, when the Board of Education accepted the administration of school libraries from the Madison Public Library Board after 42 years. |
