Bagging Twine at McCormick Twine Mill
Male and female workers producing balls of twine and placing them in burlap bags. The McCormick Works was built by Cyrus McCormick in 1873 and became part of International Harvester in 1902. The factory was located at Blue Island and Western Avenues in the Chicago subdivision called "Canalport." It was closed in 1961. |
