Valentine, I Love You
Child's Valentine's Day card with the image of a little girl with an artists palette and two paint brushes. The word "Valentine" appears on the palette. She is wearing a blue smock and beanie, pink bow tie and pink and black striped tights. She is holding a painting with a red heart and a blue eye resting on her right foot. The text "Love You" appears in the heart under the eye representing the letter "I." These valentines could be purchased several to a package, and children often exchanged them at school. Offset lithography and perforated, it must have originally come on a larger sheet with several other cards. |
