Love Is A Robber Bold
Valentine's Day postcard of a lady holding a heart, being "held up" by two "western-themed" Cupids holding pistols. She is wearing a pink and floral print dress, black shoes, black gloves and a black hat with pink feathers. The Cupids are wearing cowboy hats, black masks and carrying guns instead of bows. The verse in the upper left corner reads: "You will not part with a bit of your heart, No matter how hard I may pray, But, love, I am told, Is a robber bold, And none can say him nay." Chromolithograph. |
