Sam and Zona Liberace

Sam Liberace and his wife, Zona, with their French horn and cello in their home at 2638 East Dayton Street. Sam and his former wife, Frances, are the parents of two well-known musicians: George, who plays the violin and conducts, and Walter, a popular concert pianist and television star. Sam played with various theater bands in Milwaukee and taught music at the high school in Marshall, Wisconsin. He moved to Madison in 1951. Zona played in the Madison civic symphony and is a supervisor in the Ceramic Arts Studio in Madison. They moved to California in 1956. |
