Bike Parade Winners
Two of the top winners in the annual youngsters' bicycle parade. Holding the trophy for the best decorated bike and best costume is Mary Coster, shown with the bicycle she won. At right is Jeffery Lynch, winner of the slogan contest. His slogan was "If you care to keep riding, keep riding with care." In the background are left to right: R.C. Salisbury, safety director of the State Motor Vehicle department; Gene Rankin, master of ceremony for the program; and Robert Reger, representing the sponsoring Montgomery Ward Company. |
