Two Men Sitting on Lawn
Two men sitting in the grass and visiting. Both men appear to be holding cigars. One man is wearing a jacket, vest, bowtie and hat. The other man is wearing a jacket, vest and tie. Homes appear in the background. The text on the back of the photograph reads: "Will Henry McFetridge and Louis Claude, family friend and Baraboo, Wisconsin architect. The Claude family lived on the shores of Devil's Lake and evidently played a role in Will Henry championing Devil's Lake as a State Park." Devil's Lake became a State Park in 1911. |
