The original typewritten caption reads, "Frank Svoboda, manager, Western Avenue subbranch, Chicago, and TWA Hostesses Eula Walker and Ruth Ellison and First Lieutenant K.J. Fogle, 108th Observation Squadron, inspect International with Metro body fitted out as ambulance by Czechoslovak Relief, one of two units of this type sent to England in February, 1941, for service for Czechoslovak Army." This image was printed in "International Trail" magazine (vol. 18, number 2, March, 1941, pg. 20).
