Illegally Issued Twenty Peso Notes from the Yucatan
Twenty-four thousand twenty peso notes issued by the order of Yucatan governor Abel Ortiz Argumedo. Argumedo used these notes to pay a debt to the International Harvester Company. He was subsequently forced out of office and the notes were declared illegal. International Harvester was stuck with the illegal notes. |
