Factory workers assembling an engine cowling for the Curtiss-Wright C-46 Commando cargo and transport airplane during World War II at International Harvester's Auburn Works. The factory was owned by the D.M. Osborne Company until 1903, when it was purchased by International Harvester. It was initially known as the "Osborne Works" and later became known within the company as the "Auburn Works." |
