Volunteer Fireman Company
A view of the Saint James, Long Island fire station. In the middle bay, the fire engine protrudes out into the driveway. Another engine sits inside the station, visible in the left bay. The building itself looks reminiscent of Italianate style, with its hipped roof and brackets under the eaves, along with symmetrical arrangement of windows and doors. The garage doors contain multi-paned windows, also seen in the central window n the second floor. Flanking it are two doors with small balconies. Vines trail up the right side. |
