Boy Scouts Ring Replica of Liberty Bell
Boy Scouts ring a replica of the Liberty Bell to launch the three year progam of Wisconsin Boy Scouts. The bell stands in the Wisconsin State Historical Society Museum. Each of about 50 scout units from five Madison area counties endorsed the program. Scout David Lewis of Madison's Troop 18 tolled the bell. Members of the color guard shown at left of the bell are: Robert Mikulak of Cub Pack 302, Bobby Bulloch of Scout Troop 19, and Niels Nielsoen of Cub Pack 302. Scout David Lewis is pictured second from the right, and at the right is master of ceremonies, Justice Grover Broadfoot of the State Supreme Court. |
