Buildings on Fourth Avenue
A view of brick-paved Fourth Avenue, with the Al. Ringling Theatre on the left. The theater, which has an ornate terra cotta facade, advertises its air-conditioning on the marquee. There are movie posters for "Riding on Air" with Joe E. Brown, and "Topper" with Cary Grant, along the sidewalk. At 132 Fourth Avenue there is an old commercial building. Trimpey's studio and antique shop at 128 displays photographic portraits and antiques in its windows. Kroger's Grocery is at the far right. |
