"Rattlesnake" Watermelons

A view of a horse-drawn wagon carrying three huge "Rattlesnake" watermelons. Each watermelon has a weight: 300 pounds, 285 pounds, and 260 pounds. The wheels of the wagon are sinking into the ground and a man is standing next to the wagon, scratching his head, possibly in confusion. Caption reads: "There is money raising melons like this." This photograph was possibly used to make a tall-tale postcard. |
