View of kitchen fireplace in Howland House. The Howland House was built in 1667 and still stands. It is also known as the Jabez Howland House and is the only surviving house known to have been occupied by a Mayflower passenger, John Howland. Today it is a museum. View of fireplace with antique kettles, tools and bed warmer, and antique bench and Shaker style chairs. |
