London Terrace Marine Deck
London Terrace marine deck. View of a roofdeck sun porch resembling a ship deck at London Terrace apartments. A man and a woman lounge while a man in a captain's uniform looks on. The apartment complex was completed in 1931 and was considered the largest apartment building in the world. It still stands and occupies the block between 23rd and 24th streets and Ninth and Tenth avenue in West Chelsea in New York City. |
