St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church
| Members of the Ladies' Aid Society display a plate bearing a hand-painted image of St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church, Deerfield. The plate was painted by Mrs. B. A. Burkhart, Madison artist, and is being sold to raise funds for the 100th anniversary fete of the church. The plates are being distributed by Ralph Jacobs, operator of a rural gift shop, to women of the church's Ladies' Aid Society who will sell the plates. The image is taken in front of the Mr. Jacob's gift shop which has a Norwegion flag hanging. Pictured from left to right are: Ralph Jacobs, Mrs. Irving Christianson, young Paul Jacobs in original Norwegian costume, Mrs. Otis Gilderhus, Mrs. John Helgestad, Mrs. Sanford Nelson, Mrs. George Julseth, and Mrs. Lars Brekke. |
